Yesterday me and my family went on a big train to go to Edinburgh.We were there for 5/6 hours but when we got off the train it was raining so my dad took us to the whiskey store and it was pretty boring just standing in there doing nothing.Then we went outside and walked up to the castle and it was gigantic and really old. We saw a piper and I felt like doing the Highland fling. We also went on a double decker bus and it was fun. Here are some photos that we took.

Scotland 22 June

We went on the Falkirk wheel, which is a large wheel that lifted our boat from the lower canal up to the higher canal . We went to see the Kelpies, two large horse statues and we had an ice cream there.

Yesterday we went to Aviemore and we saw some Ospreys, large birds that span two metres wide when their wings are out . There were two chicks in the nest.We also saw a red  squirrel and a woodpecker.We also went to Pitlochery to see the salmon ladder. This helps the fish to go up the river.
